Alright, it's 2012, so a blog post was a must. Like usual, I have a "whole lot" to talk about that is really "important". I do most of my thinking when I am at work and then I can never get it translated from my brain onto paper and I usually forget most of the things that I think are important. However, I did remember the most important thing, which was me thinking about where I wanted to be during this year/end of the year and what kind of person I wanted to be. 2011 kind of sucked all the way around. I know it could have been a lot worse, but like most things, there was definitely room for some improvement. A list of things that sucked during 2011 are:
1. Towards the end of 2010, I moved to Washington and fell in love with it, but in 2011 I had to move back to my crappy hometown.
2. I have a job that I can barely stand anymore.
3. I had a falling out with Brad's sister which caused me to no longer be in contact with her or her little boy.
4. I had to move back in with my grandparents && am still currently residing with them.
5. I have withdrawn from a lot of people for no good reason.
A list of good things that came out of 2011 are:
1. I DO have a job that pays my bills.
2. I'm not homeless.
3. I am surrounded by family.
4. I lived in another state and met amazing people.
5. I turned 21.
6. I got to see my Texas family.
7. I have my boyfriend, Brad, who is there for me through all of my craziness.
2011 was just "blah" for me and I want this year to be better. I am going to work my butt off to be more social and go to outings when they are taking place. I plan on trying to be as healthy as I can be. My first motion was to stop drinking soda and it has been almost 2 weeks for me that I have not had one single sip of soda (go me!) One of the main things I want to do is forgive people..any people that frustrate me. I have realized it is not my fault that they are stupid and I am awesome :)) haha.
The whole point of this blog was to write down all the things I wanted to accomplish this year. Remember to not stress out about it. After Christmas, it is a downward spiral for people because they set themselves up for failure for the new year. I do not want to do that to myself. All I want to do is try my best to be a better person all the way around. I hope you all can do the same for yourselves :)
